I don't have experience with NG except briefly playing it in a "noisy" shop (and I own an upright too btw, which is why I mentioned that as a reference ), but I own a VPC1 and I use it with VSTs both on a computer (Mac) and on iPad (Ravenscroft 275 for acoustic piano, NeosoulKeys for EPs mainly) which is actually a "power on and play" solution by all means no problems to work with a latency comparable to HW keyboards (well below 10ms) on both solutions. Also how is the latency on a VST like Keyscape (or any other VST)? This option looks quite good. But if the VPC+Electro 6D is cheaper and more versatile, I might choose that. But the NG looks to me like a nice all in one solution especially since I won't be using organs often. Do you think the NG is about the same noise wise? Because if it's near that level then I'm good.Īlso, The VPC option looks quite nice, can I plug in a Nord Electro 6 via MIDI to the VPC and use the piano/epiano sounds from that, while using the Electro as a Hammond, at the same time? Because that would be nice. Fritz Frigursson wrote:Do you have experience with the Grand? I have an upright in my house and the key noise on that is perfectly OK, even with damper pedal.
